So many mixed feelings with this one… I both liked and disliked this book – okay, maybe liked it more than I didn’t.

I went in completely blind without reading the details, and at first I was like, “Okay, love triangle.”

Then halfway through I realized-nope, it’s a reverse harem.

Each guy gets their own part with the FMC, but things started to feel a little weird and confusing.

Ames was great until the end. One moment he’s all possessive, then suddenly fine with his friends watching… then right back to being possessive again? It’s like he couldn’t decide if they were mated or claimed or just sharing?

Then there’s Onyx – I’m not sure what to make of him yet. The attraction between him and Blithe skyrocketed near the end, like out of nowhere. There was always chemistry, sure, but it went from simmer to full boil real quick. Meanwhile, her connection with Wolf kind of cooled off a bit, which was weird.

And Judas? Practically nonexistent until the end… then he shows up and immediately starts acting like a jerk. Honestly gave me whiplash.

But despite the confusion, I actually liked the plot and characters enough to keep going. It’s chaotic, but the concept is really interesting, so I’m definitely continuing the series to see how it unfolds. d

My take on the guys so far:

Ames – Loved him at first… now he’s moody and confusing.

Onyx – Creeps me out a little, but maybe that’s just the

vampire thing.

Wolf – Funny, sweet, and charming (my favorite so far).

Judas – Confusing, suspicious, and kind of an a$$hole.

Overall? It’s dark, messy, and a little chaotic – but I’m intrigued.

Bring on book two.
